Students who have questions or who are interested in learning more about courses, programs, and resources are encouraged to contact the Director of the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Program (LACS), Professor Mark Hauser, Department of Anthropology, or Professor Jorge Coronado, Department of Spanish & Portuguese.
Students wishing to declare a minor in the LACS program should meet with the program Director or Senior Assoc. Director, Bianca Jimenez to fill out paperwork. We also recommend students meet with the program Director when considering study abroad programs and petitioning for credit for study abroad.
Minors will also need to complete a petition to graduate and a minor worksheet during the spring quarter of their junior year or early during the fall quarter of their senior year. Please complete (as much as possible) the petition to graduate and the minor worksheet before meeting with the program director.
